My first 10k

I'm a casual runner at best, and currently a bit out of shape, but Eric Brooks goaded me into running my first 10k this week. Six of us ran the Chevy Chase Turkey Chase in Bethesda, Maryland, on Thanksgiving morning.

I got smoked by Eric and Jimmy Blakeney -- both members of StrayRocket. They came in in the low 40s. I ran it in just over 50 min… Continue

I've heard that they've banned it in the States now, is that true? There's some good jokes going round about that in Australia! I'm glad you can tell the difference between vegemite and marmite, marmite is just not the same, I don't like it! Do you get any winter sports down where you are? I'm keen to try a bit of ice climbing whilst I'm here.
