About Me:
Single male, living in LA, wishing he was living in the mountains. Love to ski, mountain bike, run rivers and generally get out of doors and out of the city. Most often found in some part of Utah when not at home.
Activities:
Skiing (in area and backcountry), Mountain biking, Hiking, occasional road bike rides. Travel and adventure photography (wish I could figure out a way to really make money from it).
Favorite places:
Most of Utah. Alta for skiing. Anyplace in the south for mountain biking. All the rivers.
Dislikes:
People who are full of themselves. (Why, oh why, have I ended up in LA?)

Full stream ahead for Lower Owens

The Lower Owens River has flooded for millenniums, but this flood was man-made, part of the most ambitious river restoration project in the West. The river mostly disappeared when the Los Angeles Aqueduct opened in 1913, but 15 months ago engineers began redirecting some aqueduct water into the channel.
