Going into space is bound to be a thrill. But here on Earth, I'm going to say something involving a round trip tour of the world by sail boat. I've never been a big boat person, but recently, I'm intrigued by the idea of travel at sea. Argghhh, matey!
I totally agree. I have a sort of fear of huge open water like that. So i think it would be pretty exciting. Especially having to deal with the rough seas.
To back pack across the country would be great. I wonder if any people would be interested in coming up with one greatest adventure and planning it out and doing it?? Just a thought.
Well this isn't exactly across the country, but a backpacking trip from one body of water to another. I have been slowly working this idea out in my head. Catching a flight to Homer, AK. Stay the night there on the spit in Homer, then the next morning catch a water taxi across Kachemak Bay, over to the village Sledovia then backpacking across the tip of the Kenai Penn, to the Gulf of Alaska. Spend acouple of days there and then hike back to the little community of Graham and catching another water taxi back to Homer. Spend the last night or two at the Float Plane Lodge there in Homer, then catch a flight home.
Greatest adventure for me would be kayaking that river in Bhutan. I forget the name of the river but the discovery channel did an expedition on it like a year ago
